The new recommendations have updated the Canadian guidelines for non-medical masks. It is now suggested that face masks be made of two layers of tightly woven material like cotton or silk and that the middle layer should be a non-woven material, such as a coffee filter.

Nathon Kong donates 10% of the profits made from the sale of silk face masks to Les Impatients in order to raise awareness for mental health. Face masks are made locally in Quebec by at risk seamstresses working from safely from home.
Each limited edition silk face mask comes in a golden envelope with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate tells the story of the artist that created the face mask's artwork. Orders of five or more masks are shipped in a complementary unique gift box with a tracking number. Gift boxes and tracking numbers can also be bought separately.
