This Silk Face Mask designed according to scientific recommendations is distinguished by the art of Willy Beauvais. The blue patterns and colors used are reminiscent of a landscape and celebrate the pleasures of artistic expression.

Designed with 2 layers of fabric (mulberry silk and organic cotton), a filter pocket and a nose clip, it naturally provides the highest filtration efficiency and the best comfort for the skin.

Willy Beauvais was born in 1970 in Loches, France. He earned a certificate in visual arts and has participated in many workshops held by Les Impatients since 1992. He enjoys the workshops as they allow him to rediscover the pleasures of creating art.

Many of his drawings involve the same character: a figure with sunken eyes and disheveled hair. His paintings often make use of green and blue shading to add the air of mystery that is a hallmark of his works.

Willy also expresses himself musically in addition to being a visual artist. He is part of Big Bang Band, a group which makes up Les Impatients’ music workshop and participates in the concert held by the organization. Willy takes part in this concert every year. He’s been a singer-songwriter for thirty years and has produced over fifty short albums and one thousand eight-hundred songs. His work can be found on Bandcamp under the name “Willy Noise.”

ART OF SILK FACE MASKS

Based in Montréal, Québec, Nathon Kong works with local artisans to sew each silk face mask by hand. Mulberry silk is the finest quality of silk available in the world but also the most difficult to sew and demand a specific training.

Designed by a scientist and based on scientific search, this face mask allow the best natural filtration and comfort to breathe.

For more protection, you can add a DIY filter or surgical mask inside the mask. 

 

 

The printed part of the mask is a limited and numbered reproduction of an artwork signed by artists struggling with mental health issues and participating in art programs led by the non profit organisation Les Impatients.

You can wash by hand you silk face mask with tempered water and a little bit of soap. See below the video:

You can also use the washing machine and dryer on delicate program. However, we alert you to the undesirable effects that this could cause on fabrics such as silk.

Beautiful Breathability

I have chronic respiratory issues, I'm a social worker, and am not allowed to wear a face shield without a mask for client sessions.
Your mask fits perfectly and is the only one I can breathe through without distress throughout a 50 minute session.
